– These classes involve little or no asana (postures). These are lecture and discussion courses. It is recommended that you bring a journal, pen, and mediation cushion to these classes.
– These classes are taught to the level of the mommies-to-be who participate. These sweet classes are highly specialized to cultivate strength, flexibility, serenity and joy in the minds, hearts, and bodies of expectant mothers. As with all forms of exercise, please, check with your doctor before engaging in any physical activity.
– These classes are open to anyone and any level. We can all come play! The instructors of these classes excel at teaching to a group of students with a mixed level of practice. Modifications will be given for more beginning variations of postures as well as invitations, to those more experienced, for more intermediate or advanced forms. Each instructor holds a safe space for each student to uniquely explore the edge of their practice with challenge and consideration for the form, alignment, breath, and balance of yoga as a practice of personal and collective growth. All levels of practice are honored and a full selection of props is available for student use. It is recommended that you bring your smile.
– This intermediate level class builds upon a student’s collected knowledge and expands the alignment, form, and breath of a wide variety of unique and creative postures and sequences. These classes are recommended for those who are interested in deepening an asana practice. Prerequisites are and ability to kick up into head and handstand at the wall and a working practice of full wheel (backbend).
– At om time, we are committed to providing the highest caliber practice for all levels. Each advanced practice is taught or guided by highly practiced and educated instructors. These classes are geared towards those with a sound and consistent practice. Prerequisites are and ability to kick up into head and handstand at the wall, a willingness and desire to work off of the wall, and a working practice of full wheel (backbend).
– This advanced, insanely fun RADICAL EXPANSION class is a must attend if you have a wild sense of humor and desire to explore the deepest forms of postures. A working knowledge of Anusara’s five principles of alignment is recommended. Handstands in the middle of the room are a staple (with a spot, of course), arm balances, deep backbends, joy and laughter abound with the spirit of radical expansion. This is a led practice – not an instructed class.
